wow its like nirvana and randy newman had a baby and left it to die with a copy of FLstudio 10/10

littlbox responds:

This is the nicest thing anyone has ever said about my work. Thank you, my beloved.

I've been digging your music stuff dude, I usually dont love the result of sampled drums and stuff but this sounds crazy and so all over the place(in a good way, at least for me) that it gets me pretty hooked.. the last seconds make it seem like more instruments could come in and like some horns and stuff, and we get a crazy super grandiose chorus.

Also, I know were kinda already working together lol but hit me up if you'd like vocals from a guy that likes screaming and has a dumb accent, plus I can do a killer robert smith impression

scottwjsm responds:

Hell Yeah lets collab on music! Until I learn drums or come up with my own sick beats or mess with polyrythms, and ever since I got splice, I just have been using drum samples. But I edit them to add more variety so it is not the same loop.

hey wtf this is some good shit, I love it!
what did you use to get that mellotron-y sound going? I also like the slow lazy sounding drums
I think you should get back to makeing much music lately yes

scottwjsm responds:

thanks I used kodtak 5, I believe it was one of the vintage synths in its library from korg or something. And the drums are just a sample lol

Oh god I love this one I can imagine a very 80s chase scene, bullies with ripped vests, 3d glasses, unfitting mohawks, chasing the pretty protagonist on their tiny old school skateboard.
Yeah, I just wanted to say this song really sets a very specific mood to me, and the mix is very very good, makes it almost sound "real" like you said.

junipersona responds:

It's supposed to be a Strokes vibe but with tacky instruments instead lol

Dude this is amazing, I have no idea if you still see when someone comments on your stuff here. But can I sing over this and post it on my page? linking it back here of course. I´ve been looking for cool instrumentals for me to test some vocal stuff on without having to do the whole song.

avengers endgame was the most emotional moment I ever had in a movie theater bro if you disagree your closeminded film hipster douche movies without superhereos dont exist shutup

I find this actually pretty fucking ingenious as this is pretty much what I get from 90% of the podcasts I see, they manage to make things I actually like sound super boring. Are we getting a followup "Talking about superhero films"?

Wegra responds:

Maybe. I also got one of video games in general

YOU GUYS ARE TOO GOOD, THIS IS WAY TOO MUCH FUN AND ITS FUCKING WELL PRODUCED WAT I LOVE GWC BAND

wtf are you guys like, a "virtual" band formed on ng playing remotely from different places?
Asking bc this shit has mad energy and I absolutely love it, pls do more

I like how this sounds, I´m not a huge lo-fi guy but I enjoyed it a lot, what DAWthing you use?
Also, can I sing over this for funsies and post it on my profile page(crediting you of course)?

Gravidi responds:

Thanks! I work in FL Studio. And you can definitely sing over this. Send me a link when you're done.
