Mario kissing sonic changed my life, I envy you. Away from that, I'm happy for your decade of friendship with your band mates. Trying to keep a band together can feel like trying to keep a family together but harder xD
I'm still processing the fact that I met him, the marioxsonic thing is huge but the entirety of his work is just astounding to me, seriously, he creates EVERY aspect of his games and he has done work for kids in difficult situations and the dude is a sweetheart. And yes bands are hell but there's nothing in life that fulfils me like music, "hell is other people" and shit like that
